Leelanau Penninsula In Northern Michigan

First of all, let me tell you about my favorite place in the world, an area called Leelanau Country in Northern Michigan. I have spent every summer of my life at Northport Point, MI (located at the tip of Leelanau county) and it continues to be the most enchanting environment I have ever encountered. My constant companion and friend is a golden retriever Dakota. Dakota had a brother named Indy, who lives in Arizona. I attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor from 1992-1996 and received my B.S. Degree in Biological Psychology in May of 1996.

I was then employed by the University of Michigan Medical Center and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as a Health Research Consultant. In August of 1999, I began Medical School at the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri. I graduated in May of 2003.

   

I am now in my medical residency, spending time between Spectrum Health of Grand Rapids and Metropolitan Hospital in East Grand Rapids, MI. The residency is one specializing in Otorhinolaryngology (E.N.T./Head & Neck Surgery) in addition to Facial Plastic Surgery. If you would like to know more about Otorhinolaryngology, click here.
