NPYC Information - Who We Are

Northport Point is a laid-back summertime community that provides a quality sailing program along with a number of other pastimes like golf, tennis, swimming, water-skiing, pleasure boating and other leisure activities.We stress sailing fundamentals to the kids in our Beach Program, the goal being safety, competence and enjoyment more than technical racing skill in competition. The adult sailing community here is active, but sometimes needs encouragement to put sailing high upon a priority list full of fun things to do with family and friends. Still, sailing has been a part of Northport Point for a century and the people here, sailors and non-sailors alike, care about the sport and want it to continue to be a vital part of our summertime community.
